US: One More Year

Can the US survive another year of Obama? I’m not sure.
In the last week, the crony politicians on the Republican side – and I speak specifically of the new Speaker most of us didn’t want, Paul Ryan, have given Obama everything he wanted. We will be paying for it, both financially and from a national security standpoint, forever.
Merry Christmas to US citizen taxpayers – the most abused people on the planet.
Obama is off to Hawaii again for a couple weeks – and probably at the cost of several million dollars. One of his last jabs at US citizens before he left for his holiday was yet another threat of Executive Action – this time regarding the 2nd Amendment right Americans have to own a gun. This is rich coming from a person who has been surrounded by armed security 24/7 for the last 7 years. Obama will not likely ever NEED to protect himself or his family since he will now have this security detail for life. And his armed security will be paid for by the very citizens he wants to disarm.
This is just ridiculous. Barring law-abiding citizens from a right to do ANYTHING has never stopped the criminal element from doing it anyway. They are called “criminals” because they have a habit of breaking laws. Drug and controlled-substance laws are a good example. When I started to have to SIGN something to buy sinus medicine because it contained ONE ingredient some meth lab builders use – did it stop methamphetamine use? No. Did it stop criminals focused on building meth labs from doing so? No. It just meant I had to sign for something I personally have never abused.
This is the “ready, shoot, aim” of Obama mentality. It persists in the dropping of 2,000+ page documents on our representatives, giving them two days to read, and then forcing a quick vote. “Ready, vote, read.” Most of them are happy to do this, close their offices in mid-December, and then head off for their two+ weeks of vacation.
Did they leave a country that is safe? No. Did they leave us with a balanced budget? No. Does everyone who needs and wants one have a job? No. Do we have a zero deficit? No.
The real fear is not just the coming year. This fear of a tyrannical and incompetent president is only heightened by the idea that a Democrat may get into the White House again in 2017. We have basically two choices there.
One, someone who wants to tax you for every single thing you have or do. He then wants to take what he’s taken from you, and HE and the government will decide who gets the spoils of YOUR labor. You are once again the government’s cash cow and they will bleed you dry because there are so many of you with something they want.
Two, we have someone who is so disorganized, over-managed, and arrogant, that she won’t get back from a bathroom break on time. I’m Hillary Clinton – everyone can just wait for me. And notice I said “won’t” not “can’t.” Hillary doesn’t care if she’s keeping people waiting – even with international news coverage waiting! It reminded me of the rudeness of Obama – who is usually 15 minutes to an hour late for most of his press conferences. Pathetic.
Republicans have some answering to do as well. Why did anyone vote to give you a majority if you REFUSE TO USE IT???
One way or another, getting to the next election is going to be like walking through minefields for conservatives and it’s going to be a long year…
