United States: Losing Our Soul and Culture

by on Feb.07, 2015, under Favorites

I was listening to some music from the 1970’s this past week and almost had an out-of-body experience. For a few seconds, I remembered what it was like in the US before we became so completely diluted by world issues and the world’s problems.

Nothing is ever perfect – and perfect has different meanings for different people, but we were sure a LOT closer to it 30 or 40 years ago than we are now. If we don’t make some drastic changes to protect our country and our culture, I’m not sure it will last another 20 years or more – and then where will the rest of the world be in response?

We have an exceptionally weak president. He seems determined to destroy US culture by diluting not only the country’s borders, but by ignoring or refusing to enforce its laws. From a jobs aspect, this was highlighted again yesterday by a US company in California that is laying off American workers, but not before they have to train their “replacements” coming into the US on H1B visas from India. This is against US law:

“…the Labor Department states, “The Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) requires that the hiring of a foreign worker will not adversely affect the wages and working conditions of U.S. workers comparably employed.

You can read the full article here. And the purpose is totally greed-based. If the government allows these visa holders who will take less pay, then of course companies will pay to get them here meaning US workers lose their jobs and the wages paid – decrease across the board.

It is blatantly obvious that we have a unemployment problem in the US – for legal US workers anyway. The Labor Department is spinning the numbers by cherry-picking the statistics to shore up what Obama needs to hear – which has little to do with reality.

And where did all these atheists come from? For people who protest that they are “non-believers” they sure do run to the courts fast enough to stop others from having THEIR beliefs. Apparently they believe in the legal system – when they can use it to prevent others from enjoying some of the free speech rights of the US. Small-town US councils are removing statues and memorials that have stood for DECADES – often because ONE PERSON complained. They get threatened with big ACLU lawsuits if they don’t buckle to the blackmail and the ACLU? I know the “A” is supposed to stand for “American”, but they seem willing to slam some Americans because others complain. Leave our flag alone. Leave the Pledge of Allegiance alone. Leave our statues and our memorials alone. And if you don’t like them – either don’t look or LEAVE!!! Pack your bags and GO! Anyone running for US President in 2016 is welcomed to use this as a campaign slogan. You’ll get plenty of support.

Obama – what can I say? He’s a disaster. He speaks at the National Prayer Breakfast and deflects current day atrocities like the burning alive of the poor Jordanian pilot, by preaching to us HIS cherry-picked version of the Crusades – which happened some 700 years ago. His national security person, the same person who told us the Benghazi tragedy was over a video, tells us we are not fighting World War II. I think we know that. She goes on to discuss climate change and the rights of transgenders – with no mention of RADICAL ISLAM – and the terrorism the world is confronting TODAY.

He’s flooded this country with illegals and too many H1B visas, depressing wages and taking jobs from US citizens – on our own soil! This country is spending some $113 BILLION each year to support illegals – over citizens. Because guess what? We have US kids who go hungry. We have US workers who have been looking for work for a year or more. We have workers who used to have full time employment who are now feeling lucky they found something part time to do. We are paying, through property taxes, to build new schools – for illegal children – and then we get stuck paying for them to learn English!

I am furious that so few of our representatives in the House and the Senate seem to remember that the United States has a right to its own soul and its own culture. It’s not something citizens take lightly and we don’t like it being destroyed.

I hope we can hang on to our values until 1.20.2017 and I hope our next president has a better idea of what this country is all about – before it’s gone forever. We aren’t perfect, but we have a RIGHT to be who we are, and Obama’s “transformation” wasn’t necessary.
