A Rare Recipe – For Vegetables or Chips
by admin on Oct.05, 2014, under Favorites
I rarely share recipes. I figure most people are more talented than I am in the kitchen. I do well, but I cook for myself what I like the way I like it so guess you could call me “experimentally challenged” when it comes to food.
I did resort back to an old recipe recently that I’ve been carrying around for almost 35 years and it was so good yet again that I figure it is WORTH a share. It’s great as a dip for vegetables (I favor cauliflower) but good with chips or pretzels, etc., too.
Since I got it from a very nice neighbor named Theresa when I was living in Hawaii, this is forever known as the “Theresa’s Dip” recipe.
~ 1 cup mayonnaise
~ 1 cup sour cream
~ 1 teaspoon Beau Monde
~ 1 teaspoon dill weed
~ 1 teaspoon onion flakes
~ 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
This makes a good quantity of dip so great if you’re heading out for a large gathering. If not, cut it in half and you’ll have plenty for a happy Sunday afternoon all by yourself!
Enjoy and don’t forget to share!!!
