I’ve had a healthy respect for birds for a long, long time. My parents had a Parakeet when I was born that lived until I was almost 16 so I guess that might explain a lot of it.

A week or so ago I noticed a Robin’s nest just over an outdoor speaker. By the time I noticed it, these guys were already thinking about leaving…

Were they safe in there? I think so!

I was amazed at how HEAVY this nest was. Not only is the nesting area itself almost perfectly round, if you look to the right-side of the nest, you can see the “wall” Mother Robin built to brace the nest over the speaker and against the brick wall behind it!

You can say what you want about birds, but I think they are amazing creatures. From this little Robin familys’ temporary home to geese that somehow manage to keep their goslings together in urban areas. Calling someone a “birdbrain” might give them more credit than they deserve!!

If you want a clear picture of how US business and most of the ideological “left” feels about national security and the RIGHTS of US citizens to have a society free from illegal aliens, watch the attacks on Donald Trump.

First, they have misquoted much of what he said. He stated that Mexico is financially draining the US and is importing criminal aliens into our country (causing the misery and death of some estimated 5,000+ US citizens each year.) These are facts.

Second, it is quite enlightening to see some of the alleged “GOP” candidates either trashing Donald Trump or for their lack of response one way or the other.

Third, on what is New York Mayor DeBlasio basing his alleged “cutting of ties” with Donald Trump and his organization? What right does HE have to use the City of New York as a political weapon?

Fourth, if Macy’s and NBC and NASCAR are basically boycotting Trump for his comments based on fact, who and what is it they actually support? They apparently aren’t too concerned about US citizens killed by illegals. Do they employ illegals? Are they afraid of losing illegal employees which may cause them to hire American citizens at reasonable rates?

What do these business entities have to say to these people? These are the family members of those killed by illegal aliens.

I have never been a huge fan of Donald Trump but I’ll give him plenty of credit for one thing. He has forced the conversation on a topic that is a CRITICAL election issue for MANY Americans – and we have been ignored – pretty much since the 1986 “final” amnesty.

We’re sick of hearing about “reform.” We don’t need reform and we don’t need new legislation. We need laws enforced that are already supposedly in effect. Mexico is draining this country’s resources. We have at least 20 million illegal aliens and this does not even take into account Obama’s refugees being dumped on US cities by the thousands. Jobs have gone to Mexico. Some of our towns are over half Hispanic. While English-as-a-second-language students get preferential treatment, what are US kids missing out on?

Everything I have read about the Republican base says we are anxious to close our border, return some level of security to our country, and deport people illegally here in the US. If no one other than Donald Trump understands these facts, then we (I) need to hear more of what he has to say.

It’s bad enough to see the “transformation” going on in the United States at the moment, but then I hear about this:

So when you hear the media making fun of Donald Trump, on this one fact at least he is CORRECT! An illegal alien with a long criminal record and multiple deportations murdered a 32-year old American citizen who will not be celebrating the 4th of July with her family this year.

UPDATE: Don’t let the media fool you. ICE – Immigration and Customs Enforcement – is stating that the San Francisco police department is at fault for not turning this murderer over to them on a ICE “detainer.” Here are the two problems with that: #1 San Francisco is a sanctuary city meaning they aid (protect) and abet illegal aliens. #2 ICE is notorious around the US for taking illegals from local and state jails and then – releasing them!!! Back onto the streets – which is probably how this murdering illegal was still here and still on the loose!

This is reprehensible incompetence that cost not only this one citizen her life, but which kills THOUSANDS of US citizens each year.

So while bakeries are being fined for not wanting to make wedding cakes for homosexuals, NASCAR is asking its paying spectators to not fly Confederate flags, Obama is still trying to find ways to take legally-owned guns from American citizens, and our government continues to be greedy, corrupt, and a near-total failure at home AND abroad, let’s not forget…

WE are the backbone of this country. Every legal citizen who supports and defends our flag is a hundred times more important than any 10 lying politicians. Any citizen or legal immigrant has MORE RIGHTS than any 1,000 illegals who flaunted our laws to get here, drain us financially, and ignore our laws while they stay.

It is a tough time to be an American. We have a weak and even worse a “known to be weak” president, a GOP who is not representing its constituents, and a Supreme Court that reinterprets laws as they go along – which all miraculously go Obama’s way.

But he has just 565 days until he is gone

Hopefully we can get past the voter fraud, the illegals who will be voting democrat, and any other little trick Hillary Clinton can come up with to steal the next election, and in 565 days, we can start regaining our independence from this dictatorial rule we’ve been suffering under for the past 6.5 years. There is nowhere to go but up…

Hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th of July. We WILL prevail…

Wow. How disengaged do you have to be from a majority of the country to crow about what a “good week” you had?

After the Supreme Court on Friday legalized same-sex marriage nationwide, the White House was illuminated with rainbow-colored lights. That night, people gathered outside the White House to celebrate.

“That made it a really good week,” Mr. Obama said. “To see people gathered in the evening outside on a summer night, and to feel whole and to feel accepted and to feel that they had a right to love — that was pretty cool. That was a good thing.”

Okay, that was “good news” for about 3% of the country.

The passage of trade promotion authority, he said, will enable the negotiation of “high-standards agreements.” He also reiterated his approval of the Supreme Court’s rulings on marriage and on the Affordable Care Act.

What’s the deal with this “Affordable Care Act?” It’s Obamacare. It’s forced. It isn’t “affordable.” It has a tax/penalty. And has only “helped” about 6 million people out of the 300 million it was supposed to positively impact.

So that news was only good for about 2% of this country.

And here’s what’s on tap from Obama:

“Specifically, he said he’s interested in securing bipartisan legislation to invest in infrastructure and to reform the criminal justice system. He also said he wants to keep making progress on the issue of job training and to ensure that his proposal for subsidizing community college starts taking root.”

He’s already releasing criminal illegal aliens back onto our streets so I’m not sure how many others he plans to release from our jails. But it won’t be a “good week” for US citizens.

“Job training?” For what “jobs?” Free community college (which of course will NOT be free to US taxpayers,) to get degrees to do – WHAT JOBS??? Jobs and the economy have been Obama’s “job” for 6+ years and he’s done NOTHING!! Now he has a plan??? Is it the same “plan” he talked about for the 2012 campaign – that has NOT increased labor participation by mid-2015?

And his handed-over win on trade authority – thanks in large part to Republicans? I am still speechless over this one. We voted these fools in to reign in Obama’s “power” – not to EXPAND it! But that’s exactly what they did. The GOP leadership, which is apparently listening to 0% of its base – is now holding the #2 position on the “can’t trust” list.

So Obama had his week, and his light show on OUR house, and played a little golf, and turned a South Carolina eulogy into a political event, and he had a “good week.”

Too bad about 95% of the citizens of this country – didn’t. And too bad, although no longer surprising, Obama and his ego don’t care.
