Illegal Immigration: Devastating the US Economy
by admin on Nov.11, 2015, under US Politics
I’m glad the subject of illegal immigration made it into the GOP economic debate last night. Too many of our citizens have no clue as to how much taxpayer money goes into maintaining those who do not belong in the US.
Here are some 2013 totals:
“Illegal immigration costs U.S. taxpayers about $113 billion a year at the federal, state and local level. The bulk of the costs — some $84 billion — are absorbed by state and local governments.”
Source: FAIR
$113 BILLION PER YEAR!!! And we know where “state and local governments” get their dollars too – from US!!!
But only one debater got to the heart of another deficit Americans suffer due to illegal immigration and that was Senator Ted Cruz:
“MAINSTREAM MEDIA WOULD FREAK OUT IF ILLEGALS WERE TAKING JOURNALISTS’ JOBS”
He’s right about that! Wonder why kids can’t find part-time summer jobs anymore? Wonder why wages in the US are flat-lined? Lawbreaking US employers are hiring illegal aliens to do those jobs and at wages below what Americans (of any age) would have been paid BEFORE the influx of illegals. And since the government allows illegals to work – despite the joke of the expensive E-Verify system, jobs are lost to illegals and wages are reduced. Heard about the horrors of the US construction industry? US companies going out of business because they would not hire illegals as some of their competitors would. So you try to protect American jobs and – you’re out of business.
Not only have illegals taken our jobs and drained our resources, they’ve taken the American dream. Now, no one has it – particularly if you are in an industry that draws and protects illegals. And there goes the American economy along with it.
So if illegal entry, drugs, rapes, murders, and identity theft aren’t enough to make you see the damage illegal aliens are doing to the US, look at the damage being done to our economy.
When politicians like Jeb Bush and John Kasich tell you we can’t remove millions of illegals from the US they are wrong. The “unaccompanied minors” were coming through Mexico at a rate of 70,000 per month last year. If “minors” can walk in – they can all walk out. And Eisenhower did it – removed over one million illegal aliens in 1954 – and he had less money and manpower at his disposal than is currently available. A politician who does not see the costs of illegals to American taxpayers is NOT someone who should hold this country’s highest office. We can remove the illegals, and they can take their families with them.
I’m just surprised that only one or two of those who wish to be US President really see the full cost. There is nothing racist or childish about discussing this as a national issue that needs action. Anyone who condescends to name-calling on this subject does not deserve your time and attention.
