President Kennedy Assassination: 52 Years Ago Today
by admin on Nov.22, 2015, under US Politics
I was only a little surprised to wake up this morning and see NOTHING about the anniversary of the death of this US President.
Our world seems to be run now more by people who are only interested in what happened yesterday and what might happen tomorrow.
To be fair, I was only in the third grade when this happened and I barely remember the day. But I am still young enough now to be disappointed that so many seem to forget that on November 22, 1963 in Dallas Texas, a US President was shot and killed on US soil. In anyone’s estimation, a shocking and tragic event.
You can say what you want about Kennedy’s politics and you can believe or not believe any or all of the various conspiracy theories about his assassination. But what it comes down to is the death of a president, who had a wife, who had children, and who was by all accounts, doing his best to be a positive influence for the country.
That shouldn’t be forgotten.
