World: What A Mess We’re In!

by on Nov.17, 2015, under US Politics

Every day you wake up and hope today will be either as good as yesterday or better. If you have things going on that need “fixin,” as they say down south, a normal person makes some effort for improvement and unless they are a procrastinator, they fix things ASAP. This is, to me, a common-sense approach to life and what “adults” are supposed to do.

So WHAT is the excuse of world leaders for the state of constant calamity they’ve created for us?

The answer is – there IS NO EXCUSE – and boy do we deserve better! They don’t even offer us an excuse. They collect their big salaries, ride around in their chauffeur-driven limousines, eating 5-Star food – on our dime, spending our tax dollars on phony or ineffective projects, pad pockets of either themselves or their constituents (or both) – and they do nothing good for us! The more they spend, the worse shape we’re in!

We have bloated, ineffective, expensive governments that do not listen to the people. Countries that drive themselves into bankruptcy – and what’s the first thing they think to do? Close the banks and restrict their citizen’s access to their own funds. Citizens who, by the way, have little input into the often ridiculous decisions made by their country’s leaders.

I read an article the other day where someone was praising Vladimir Putin of Russia as a pro-active and aggressive leader. Really? Had that person ever been to Russia? I doubt it. It’s not a happy place and the people have little impact on their daily lives or the decisions made for them by those in charge. Ask the people of the former Crimea about Vladimir Putin. He just “absorbed” Crimea when he felt he could get away with it and has created constant havoc in Ukraine trying to do the same. And the world – even those who swore to protect these regions – just stood by, condemning his actions – but doing NOTHING! Putin was right – no one – and I mean you Obama – backed up Crimea as we, as a country, had promised to do.

Which brings me to the US – which is just a huge question mark at the moment…

I am thoroughly disgusted by leaders who have all but buried the US in debt. And they don’t stop. In addition to the damage the Obama administration has done that impacts the world, he’s ruined our economy, made people feel hopeless, more than doubled our debt, and is again in the process of making us less safe. 11 million illegal aliens are not enough burden for us to bear – now we are supposed to welcome undocumented Syrians as “refugees” to the tune of more billions per year – and we don’t know who these refugees really are! Apparently at least one of those responsible for the tragedy in Paris got where he was by coming in as a REFUGEE!!! Obama seems to not care that he’s taking our tax dollars and potentially flooding the country with terrorists. I can’t wrap my head around this one.

We already have no protected and defined border, our president is importing those who hate us, who do not align with US culture, and who will immediately cost us billions.

Do we still HAVE a country?

We have one year left of Obama and hopefully his policies will NOT continue under another Democrat president. No matter what screw-ups were going on in the rest of the world, the US at one time felt like a safe and relatively sane place to be. I’m not saying Obama is 100% responsible for that no longer being the case, but he’s the catalyst for our downfall. And a downfall we are having.

It feels like we need what they do during a fight when both fighters are sent back to their respective corners. But it’s not so easy to return to sanity when world leaders make insane decisions and leave us to pick up the pieces.
