Republicans: Do You WANT To Lose?

by on Nov.24, 2015, under US Politics

It appears that way to me after this morning’s headline story:

++ Republican donors, operative fueling new anti-Trump ad blitz

I don’t care if you like Donald Trump or not, this reported “move” by the GOP is more revealing about THEM than about him.

Further, the super PAC supporting fellow GOP candidate and Ohio Gov. John Kasich is planning to air attack ads against Trump in New Hampshire. And, in a sign of the project’s appeal among donors, it is starting to get funding from donors backing candidates other than Kasich.

Fox News has learned that, as of Sunday, 10 new donors pledged money to the group, New Day for America, since a report Thursday on the super PAC’s plans.

Kasich? Really?? Most polls show Governor Kasich’s numbers around 2 or 3%. Trump’s numbers are at 20% plus or minus. Does this seem a smart thing to do if you want Republican voters to actually VOTE in November 2016?

The group confirmed most of those donors are supporting other candidates, including former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio. Among them, California donor Jeffrey Le Sage told Reuters, which first reported on the new donations, that he wants to help “stand up to Donald Trump.”

Le Sage, a Bush donor, confirmed to Fox News that he donated to the pro-Kasich group.

Some in the so-called Republican establishment and GOP “donor class” fear the party will lose the general election if Trump wins the nomination, arguing his comments and views are alienating Hispanic and black voters.

Hey – guess what? Hispanics and blacks already vote Democrat – because Democrats promise to give them what they want. Free stuff. Republicans MUST pull their heads out of the sand on this notion or lose, BIG TIME! Just following along the same path as the last two elections is to guarantee a loss. You’re worried about courting voters who will not, do not, and never will vote for a Republican – and you are already initiating plans to LOSE your Republican voters as well.

Instead of trying to jump into the “free stuff” game, why don’t you do something different and tell people how you are going to return jobs to this country? People are less worried about getting stuff for free if they actually have employment! Maybe a Republican can redirect these moronic college students who are whining about their hurt feelings by asking them what JOB they will be able to find when they graduate. Because guess what? THERE AREN’T ANY! Get them focused on that and remind them of who it was who set up a jobs council he never attended and then disbanded with NO signs of success.

Obama – the Democrat!

Let’s not forget that Republican voters made a big stand in November 2014 and pushed out a LOT of Democrats from the political process. These were some close and hard-won campaigns for Republicans and guess what? We haven’t seen ANY of the changes they promised.

Obama still runs over and around Congress like a runaway train. The illegals are still here. Keystone was scrapped. The Trans Pacific Trade disaster passed. The Benghazi hearings were a joke. The VA is STILL ignoring veterans while those who are supposed to serve those who serve, keep receiving big bonuses. The IRS has paid no penalty for going after conservative groups. ISIS is ruining the world. And now Obama is now planning to flood the country with “refugees” who will further drain our resources and put our national security at risk. And where’s our Republican influence? Where is the “checks and balances” process that is supposed to stop a US President from acting like a tyrant and a dictator?

That’s a good question.

So you take voters you’ve already disappointed and discounted, and now this. You plan to attack one of your own who, whether you like it or not, exposes much of what Republican voters want exposed.

So GOP listen up and pay attention – NOW, before it’s too late.

Republican voters are telling you loud and clear that we agree with much of what Trump says – whether we like the man or not. Focus on THAT if you want to win – and stop listening to these Super PACs with their private interests. You will LOSE if you don’t change and you will lose if you don’t listen to your voting base.

Ask Romney supporters…
