No time like the present to take the plunge into an incredibly warm Winter heating season. Here’s an attractive and efficient wood stove you’ll want to consider:
European castings and Napoleon’s advanced wood burning technology and innovative design transforms small amounts of wood into large amounts of cozy heat, easily sustaining overnight burns.
The EPA 1100C is available in porcelain enamel Majolica green or brown, or traditional painted black finish and features an elegantly arched, Early American look, single door with concealed hinges. Outstanding Performance and Safe, Clean Woodburning. Free Shipping on Orders over $199 @ HomeClick.com
And Fatwood will help you “get things started” with your new stove!

First day – heating season…
by admin on Oct.06, 2010, under Real Estate
Maybe I am a wimp, but 57 degrees in the house this morning means it is time to turn on the heat for the first time this season. The Piedmont area of North Carolina is weather-funny…this time last week I had the A/C on!
This is also the first heating season with an entirely new HVAC unit. We’re cooking with gas – new vents and ductwork – the whole shebang. I’ll be monitoring to see if savings are inline with this new high-efficiency system. I can feel the benefits of new ductwork – no sneezing as soon as the heat starts to blow through the vents.
If you have allergies – or screwed-up sinuses as I do, ponder getting your home’s ductwork cleaned. Even without a whole new system, you might get some blessed relief from forced-air dust and mold.
Where is my highly-touted wood stove you might ask? Not quite cold enough for that just yet. With temperatures climbing to the low 70s by lunchtime today, that wood stove would put out too much heat. Not a problem come December….
