US: Are We On the Stupid Train?

Well that would sure make Obama happy. He won’t look half as stupid for having this traitor’s parents to the Rose Garden ceremony if poor little Bowe doesn’t end up in prison. The fact that he committed treason seems not so important.
What’s going on with the Army I have no idea. This “soldier’s” activities caused the death of several other soldiers, and how much time and money has already been wasted on him? Too much if you ask me. You have to compare this action – or lack thereof – to the other highly decorated soldier who is being forced out of his military career – for pushing a Afghan “soldier” who had repeatedly raped a child.
You have to ask what message this country is sending out about itself right now. It’s just not good, nor does most of it make sense to the average American citizen. And the tracks we are on are going in the wrong direction.
Religion is being hampered for one group but there is a free-for-all with others. We are told to not judge a whole group of people by the actions of “extremists,” but then if one person shoots others in THIS country, ALL of us have our 2nd Amendment rights threatened. If you don’t agree with certain lifestyles, you don’t just have your own opinion, you are somehow labeled for doing so.
Vladimir Putin is now in charge of the Middle East. Perhaps he will just absorb it into the Russian Empire as he did with Crimea and is trying to do in Ukraine. Why wouldn’t he? He literally TAKES a country away from itself and NOTHING HAPPENS! No punishment, sort of like they want for Bergdahl, so of course Putin’s behavior just continues.
And what about Benghazi? Our US Ambassador to Libya and several others DIED there. Remember? It’s been over three years and we still don’t know who is/was responsible. Now the whole Benghazi episode is being used as a political hot potato. People DIED. Don’t you want to know who dropped the ball to allow this to happen? I do!
But it doesn’t fit someone’s agenda. And it won’t be good for someone’s “legacy.” We won’t get answers and we won’t know the truth and our train just keeps going down the stupid track while purposefully oblivious politicians seem happy to let us, as a country, make worse and worse decisions.
Someone needs to step up and change direction – and SOON! Or we need to prepare to stop this train ourselves.
