As if it wasn’t bad enough to find that 14 of our fellow citizens had been murdered yesterday and 17 more injured in a senseless shooting at what appears to have been a Christmas party, Obama just can’t leave it alone.

Do you know for sure what happened? I don’t. And I doubt Obama has a lot more info that he is absolutely sure of. But he does this. Presses the same point based on false or no information that made him look like a total idiot earlier this week. He wants to ban guns for all Americans because of the actions of a few people who are either psychotic, or terrorists.

Is he aware that California is about a “gun-free” a state as we have in the US? That they already place huge burdens on citizens who wish to exercise their right to own a gun? Was he already aware of the Middle Eastern ethnicity of the main shooter and the potential terrorism plot? Probably. But he persists in his attempt to disarm US citizens.

I’d like to know how much of a “vetting” process the State of California uses before hiring its employees! Apparently this person worked for the county of San Bernadino for five years. I can’t say more because I don’t know the details but let’s just say someone named John Smith did not commit this crime.

If Obama’s brain wasn’t so rigidly tied to his half-baked ideologies he might contemplate this. If even one person at this party had had a concealed-carry license and had been armed – things might have turned out a lot different. These shooters stopped to reload during the attack. One armed person among the party-goers, could have fought back.

If I’m going to go out in a violent manner, I don’t want to die sitting in a corner with my hands over my eyes – waiting for the bullet. I want to at least have the choice to be armed and to fight for my survival and for that of any friends or relatives who may also be involved. I don’t want everyone and anyone to run out and buy a gun. Some people have no desire to ever be armed and I respect that. Some people will refuse to take a gun safety class. You don’t need a gun either.

Just please respect that I have taken a gun safety class, I am willing to take a more proactive stance if and when I have to, and don’t feel the same. Obama needs to stop talking about what he doesn’t know or understand – and to stop politicizing each and every event. People died Obama – this is not about your attempt at a legacy item only you want.

For the garbage that comes out of your mouth about Americans and America. For someone who is constantly talking about “who we are,” you obviously haven’t a CLUE!

Where and when did he say this? This week, in Paris. And what was he referencing when he said “mass shootings don’t happen in other countries?” Not Paris. No. He was talking about the shooting this past week in Colorado Springs and once again denigrating the ENTIRE United States – apparently (and purposefully) oblivious that he is standing in the city so recently devastated by a planned attack – including “mass shootings” committed by Islamic terrorists.

There are just no more excuses possible for this president.

First, he’s smack in the middle of a city recently attacked by Islamic extremists – and he refuses to name those (self-acclaimed) terrorists for what and who they are. Second, he’s trying to force Syrian refugees on a US bulging with illegal aliens and with those already allowed to enter who hate our country and our culture.

Third, he’s focused on climate change. Remember when – just a few years back – it was called “global warming?” Well guess what? Scientists debunked the “warming” part of global warming so those making money from this concept – and the complicit media – just changed the name! They’re pretty safe with “climate change” since that would be happening even if there were NO HUMANS on the darn planet!

On whatever ideological planet Obama lives, there is the apparent certainty that terrorist atrocities abroad can be tied to legal gun ownership in the US. Also, if a lone and obviously berserk gunman opens fire on innocent citizens, the other MILLIONS of US gun owners are somehow to blame. This is the true hypocrisy of this administration.

We are told we can not blame all Muslims for the actions of a few. Well tens of thousands of ISIS terrorist are more than a few and I see little to no push-back from the alleged “moderate” Muslims. We are also told that the Syrian refugees Obama is trying to force on US State Governors must be allowed in the US because they are “different” than other Syrians. Obama states this as if he knows it as fact. In reality, he has as little clue about the status and leanings of these Syrian refugees as he has about most American citizens.

But on he proclaims…

In Obama’s mind, if you are a US gun owner, you’re a terrorist. And his comments about “climate change” causing this Middle East uprising are literally laughable. You look like a moron Obama and a puppet for ISIS excuses. What are you hiding with these ridiculous attempts at distraction???

Obama was given 3 minutes for his little speech. He droned on for 14 minutes. Rules apparently don’t apply to Obama and neither does common sense.

Why would I want my tax dollars financially supporting THOUSANDS who refused to defend themselves and their own families and country?

And now the feckless Obama is trying to shove thousands of Syrian refugees down the pockets of US taxpayers. He’s also bringing a culture to our shores that clashes with nearly everything Americans stand for. This is on top of the 11+ million illegal aliens already in the US – costing taxpayers more billions per year.

Obama will not be happy until the US is a third-world country. He’s busy importing – some say invading – the US with all those country’s worst or most dependent citizens. He’s also spent us into debt – more than ALL past presidents – COMBINED. Funny he could state or at least imply we have billions for refugees, when our social security recipients in the US – you know, people who had $$ taken from their paychecks for decades, couldn’t get a lousy cost-of-living increase for 2016. Are prices going down? I haven’t seen…

This administration has perpetuated a false and artificial environment to crow about as success and we will ALL be feeling the pain – for generations to come. Housing interest rates low? Well that’s a trick because no one is buying! So what does Obama propose? Changing the Fed lending rules so he can lend to the same kind of people who defaulted in 2008! He won’t be around for the next deficit and he’s lied his way through this one by blaming it on others.

The flip side of this money scam is the LACK of interest people can get on savings accounts. I’m not talking about stock market investments – I’m talking the person who socks away $50 a payday in their local bank. If they are lucky, they’ll get one half of one percent interest! And you wonder why people no longer save?

Not all of this is Obama’s fault but hey – who’s been “in charge” since 2008? Instead of addressing the US economy or unemployment – big issues in the 2007 campaign – what did he do? He came up with “Obamacare” which is now going bankrupt after sucking in BILLIONS of tax dollars. We who actually read most of the thing were then forced to spend more time and money trying to get SOMEONE to stop it. But no, the liberal supreme court decided it was acceptable to penalize people for not buying something they can’t afford. This pretty much sums up my feelings about Obama – we never could afford him and, he has NO CONCEPT of not buying what you can’t afford. He’s doing it now with our tax dollars!!!

Refugees that will immediately and permanently get on food stamps, medical care, and cash handouts? How and WHY are US taxpayers supposed to pay for that? We have US homeless and US Veterans living on the street – and senior citizens living from one social security check to another – hoping they can make it. You know Obama – THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE ALREADY PAID?????

Both Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders are playing the Obama game by offering “free” everything. Once again, those who always pay will continue to pay until there is nothing left for anyone – except those who are actually planning our financial and physical demise.

We can’t afford that either.

Boy, it’s hard to be a white person in the US these days.

Yesterday, I had to listen to a rather selective recount of all the things “my ancestors” did to the poor Indians when the “white man” came to America.

Really?

This, spoken by a 19 year-old who is riding in a nice car, while checking in on his smart phone, and telling me about what “we” did. Would he have rather left Tuesday instead of Thursday in order to walk to our relatives for Thanksgiving dinner? I doubt it.

Well guess what? I wasn’t there. I’m not responsible. I had no say in anything that happened. But as a side-note, they were his ancestors too.

This was about as annoying as blaming me for slavery – because I have white skin. I wasn’t there either. My family – as far back as I can find here in the United States, which is about 1700 – had no slaves. They were too busy trying to put food on the table – or maybe to find a table to put food on.

My family didn’t take land to lay railroads – for which they made huge fortunes. My family didn’t actively work to kill Indians to flush them out of the territories. My family just tried to survive – just like most of us are still doing.

My family was also not in politics or government. They made no policies regarding Indians and have had no hand in the horrible treatment they received. There are PLENTY of things going on in today’s government my family and I also seem to have no input in or control over. I don’t like this either. But other than to vote, I have little input into this country’s policies.

So, I am sick and tired of being blamed for things out of my control. I agree American Indians were treated horribly. They were stolen from, lied to, and slaughtered. This is fact. But is every single citizen in the US today to be held responsible? NO! I refuse. In fact, maybe I should be traumatized because an event happened in the past where MY family was scalped by Indians! (Not true but what if?) Should I research this? Or should I just “assume” and hold a grudge – NOW? No.

All this conversation and blame-laying just creates noise and distraction from the crap going on in TODAY’s US Government. You want something to be angry about? Study on those things for awhile.

But quit placing blame on others based on the color of their skin. Just because I am white doesn’t mean my life is perfect, or that I’ve gained so much just from being white. The fact that I am here just means that I, and my ancestors, must have been survivors – now, and in the time frames in which they lived. This means that everyone ELSE is also from a family of survivors.

This would have been a much more constructive conversation to have this Thanksgiving.

Tried to find a really nice traditional image to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving but most were either political or otherwise just dumb. But here’s a picture of my dog Cato and I think he was protecting those pumpkins! His picture is here because I am thankful for my rescue dog. He makes my life better.

Otherwise, I’ll hope that everyone has a safe and happy Thanksgiving, and that if they are lucky enough to have the chance to share the day with family, they do so. Black Friday is one thing, but leaving home before, during, or right after Thanksgiving dinner – is it really necessary??? And isn’t it rude???

Being around for Thanksgiving next year is not guaranteed – for any of us…
