September 11, 2001

I was working on a IT contract in Raleigh, NC. The next day I was to fly to National (now Reagan) Airport to meet with the off-site team near DC.

I had stepped outside to the courtyard for a smoke break and to ponder further what I needed to do the next day. I happened to pass the picture window facing the courtyard that belonged to the real estate office downstairs. As I looked through the window (their wide screen TV was always on,) I thought they were watching a movie. On the screen, a plane had just flown into one of the Twin Towers.

While my brain was processing that, I noticed the “Live” notation on the screen, and that they were watching CNN. There was not one other person in the courtyard and apparently, no one in the real estate office was watching the TV. I couldn’t believe what I was beginning to think.

I raced up the stairs to the 3rd floor containing around 150 workers and NO ONE seemed to be reacting. I said something to my cube mate that a plane had just flown into the WTC tower and he thought I was joking. Within minutes though, people started to find out what was happening. After all of 5 minutes our internet slowed to a crawl and off we went to the conference room TV.

The rest, as they say, is history.

It still shocks me to see that so many US citizens seem to have forgotten 9/11 AND more importantly, who did it.

++ Hijackers in the September 11 attacks

The hijackers in the September 11 attacks were 19 men affiliated with al-Qaeda. 15 of the 19 were citizens of Saudi Arabia. The others were from the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Lebanon. The hijackers were organized into four teams, each led by a pilot-trained hijacker with three or four “muscle hijackers” who were trained to help subdue the pilots, passengers, and crew.

The first hijackers to arrive in the United States were Khalid al-Mihdhar and Nawaf al-Hazmi, who settled in the San Diego area in January 2000. They were followed by three hijacker-pilots, Mohamed Atta, Marwan al-Shehhi, and Ziad Jarrah in mid-2000 to undertake flight training in south Florida. The fourth hijacker-pilot, Hani Hanjour, arrived in San Diego in December 2000. The rest of the “muscle hijackers” arrived in early and mid-2001.

So what has the US Government learned since 9/11 about terrorists and how they infiltrated our country? Not much.

“Before the attacks, FBI agent Robert Wright, Jr. had written vigorous criticisms of FBI’s alleged incompetence in investigating terrorists residing within the United States. Wright was part of the Bureau’s Chicago counter-terrorism task force and involved in project Vulgar Betrayal which was linked to Yasin al-Qadi.”

Someone ALWAYS knows what is going on and what is going to happen. You’d think that the US Government and all its various agencies supposedly focused on keeping this country and its citizens safe would be using what they did wrong that allowed 9/11 to make sure it never happens again.

But they aren’t.

Our borders are open, we have millions and millions of illegals in the country, we have overstay student visas and guess what else we now have? We have huge MOSQUES all over the United States. Great places for terrorists already inside the US to get together and plan BIG THINGS! They train people to stay in the US and get all they can from it, and then go help ISIS. Then they want to come BACK to the US? And no one in the government is willing to stop them.

Obama is flooding the US with refugees – some from the same countries who were part of 9/11 – most of who have no paperwork to prove who they are. Women and children? WRONG. The majority of these “refugees” are well-built men in their 20’s and 30’s – same as those infiltrating European capitols.

As I said, I cannot believe what I’m seeing in the news most days. We have towns filled with Muslims and Burkas – no one knows for sure who they are or where they come from. But suddenly, they’re your neighbors! They won’t speak English, they live many to a house, and you have no idea why they are now living on your street.

What’s going to happen if and when there is another 9/11? Another terrorist attack on the US? Instead of watching it on TV – more citizens than before may be living it.
