My fellow citizens, we’re in a tangled web now!

For me, from about middle school age through high school, all the news was about Vietnam and then Watergate. Even to me as a 8th or 9th grader, it seemed that something was obviously not right with the decision-makers in charge of the country. I despise lying above almost anything else so to me, Richard Nixon was just as bad for his cover-up as he was for his part in the wire-tapping itself.

I wake up this morning some 40 years later and there are about ten separate and worrisome topics in the news – ALL more outrageous than Nixon and his minions could have ever dreamed of! While this is infuriating, I’m not surprised. A country cannot elect a person US President who has no experience, no past, no understanding of American ideology, and no apparent understanding much less love of, American culture. Despite low turnout, and without discussing the documented cases of voter fraud in the last two Presidential elections, HALF the country did not want Obama. We still don’t. And he proves why every single day.

Hillary Clinton might have done us all a huge favor now that her secret-server email process has come to light. Between that and the Clinton Foundation’s acceptance of millions of dollars from big business and foreign governments, I’m hoping even Democrats can see she’s a “done deal.” But since they managed to get a “Who?” candidate like Barack Obama elected – I wouldn’t bet on them accepting the fact that Hillary just has too much baggage.

Republicans – you aren’t much better. Your voters gave you a majority in the House and Senate after the mid-term elections last November. Did you defund Obama’s unconstitutional executive amnesty? No. And that was the main task expected since 70% of the population is AGAINST Obama flooding this country with even more illegal aliens.

So right about now ALL of us should be shouting the same response Representative Joe Wilson gave Obama during his big Obamacare speech:

“You Lie!”

Poor Joe was lambasted by politicians and the media alike for being “disrespectful” to Obama. Well, Obama WAS lying. Obamacare is a disaster and we don’t need its obnoxious architect Gruber to tell us that! Obama lies with ease and seemingly as a first response. It’s what compulsive liars do – to get what they want. And the lies continue. Obama wants to take away guns from US citizens – something else he said he would not do. He’s been unsuccessful at “penning out” our Second Amendment rights. So what does he do? He goes after – ammunition. And he uses questionable statistics citing law enforcement – that are not supported by law enforcement!

This week Obama and his DOJ Mafia boss Eric Holder are doing something different. They’re going after one of their own.

Democrat Senator Robert Menendez is NOT an ally of mine. He is for the dreaded and misused term “immigration reform.” So you’d guess I might not come to his defense in this lifetime. But I will.

There are some back-and-forth issues with a “friend” of the senator – probably not much different than what goes on with most the “FOPs” – Friends of Politicians. Nothing you or I could ever get away with – but they do. Cushy jobs, nice government contracts and hey – just to have the ability to get one-on-one face time with a powerful senator – it’s almost standard procedure for FOPs. Is it right? No. But it’s there. Think of multi-million dollar tax evader Al Sharpton visiting Obama at the White House time after time after time. I’d like someone to investigate THAT!

But the DOJ is going after Senator Menendez – now – this week. I suspect it’s less about the senator and his friends and more about Menendez’ recent public and vocal disagreements with the Obama administration over Cuba and Iran. He’s finding out the hard way that if you disagree with Obama, you will suffer for it. There is NO ROOM in the US Senate for differing opinions. And here’s how they show a US Senator that disagreeing with Obama could arguably ruin your career. Even worse, the DOJ LEAKED the news of this investigation which, according to them, has been going on for “some time.”

Really? An investigation goes on for years but nothing happens until a senator publicly disagrees with Obama?

I’ll be watching to see if other Democrats stand up for a fellow senator or, if they run and hide from the potential DOJ spotlight. There are so many tangled webs in DC right now – they’d ALL better be worried about getting caught – whether they are guilty of anything or not. Deception doesn’t require truth – illusions are more than sufficient.
