Update on Neem…
by admin on Jun.11, 2010, under Favorites, Quick Deals!
As I mentioned a day or two ago, I was viciously attacked by a marauding band of chiggers – probably Monday, June 7th while I worked in the yard for the morning. Per their usual MO, the itching started mid-day Tuesday and even though I fought the compelling need to scratch – the itching and biting continued. This is the worst thing about chiggers…once they are on you, they spread and continue biting until you find something to kill them.
Tuesday PM and Wednesday morning I covered myself with the Neem Outdoor Botanical product referenced in my prior post.
By yesterday I had no new bites and the itching was at a bearable level. This morning, Friday, I have no new bites and the itching has stopped completely.
Anyone who has never experienced chiggers will wonder why the heck I am making such a big deal of this. Anyone who has suffered with chiggers will already know.
So, if you’ve been told to cover the bites with nail polish or to soak yourself in Clorox, or been told to apply any other strange concoction of chemicals and household products, forget it. Use Neem…it is even good for your skin while doing an excellent job of killing chiggers.
Here’s the image again with a reminder that Neem Tree Farms has a “Buy One Get One Free” offer on tap right now. Drop a bottle or two of the Botanical Outdoor Gel in your backpack or suitcase. It is good as an insect repellant for a lot of things other than chiggers too! And it actually has a pleasant aroma…

Hi, Does this stuff really work as well as you say? Is the price I see retail or wholesale?
I ask because I have a chigger treatment site and wonder if I should maybe add something like this to the site for those who prefer some real thing. What is sad is they can have a treatment in minutes that works great and be done with it where as with the physical item the itching is all but gone by the time they get it.
Very nice site I might add.

Yes. It does work. I’ve been using it for about 4 years now. The prices are retail from Neem Tree Farms
Make sure to tell them I sent you!
