Hostas for garden color…

If you aren’t being terrorized by moles or voles in your garden, Hostas can be a low-maintenance way to add color to a shady (or sunny) spot. They really can be a “plant and walk away” method of dealing with areas that are just not bright enough for most Summer-blooming flowers.
Below is a prime example:

This plant was actually moved to this location end of last season. It doesn’t appear to have suffered for it.
