How many times have you thought to yourself, “I can’t buy that right now” or “I can’t afford a vacation this year.” How many times in one given year does the average person NOT do something because to do so would be financially irresponsible?

If you’re like me – it’s quite often.

But not so for the morons in charge of the United States of America and its treasury. Budgets? They are far too busy to stick to or even SUGGEST something as restrictive as a budget. Planning ahead so you can meet your obligations? Who, US? Why are we forced to give more and more of our hard-earned dollars to people who show no willingness to be CAREFUL when spending? It has to be one of the most teeth-grinding moments to read yet another article about the country’s debt, or waste or fraud in welfare or Medicaid. Numbers in the MILLIONS!

This would be like the average person getting their entire paycheck all in cash, jumping into a convertible, and putting all their cash on the dash! Maybe some will stay in the car and maybe none will! Who would do such a stupid thing?

I’ll tell you who.

People who are getting TOO MUCH of other people’s money. And people who have written enough convoluted bills and amendments that when they screw up, there is literally NO penalty. So of course it just continues. The IRS whining this year was a prime example. We need more money to serve the people we are taking money from, so we can serve the people who pay us.

CRAZYMAKING!!!

I don’t know about you but I am getting really tired of being played like a sucker. And I’m tired of people getting away with it. You can’t swing a stick these days and not hit some new story of waste in government spending if not flat out fraud. I don’t have any immediate solution but I cannot believe our citizens are going to put up with irresponsible government too much longer.
