Our Country, Our Flag…

Our holidays, our traditions, our culture. Now what did I forget?
If you are an American citizen, all the things listed above better be important to you. If you are a naturalized citizen, the same. If not, please feel free to leave. If you are an illegal alien, please leave – return to your home country and work there to make IT better – do NOT try to change America to suit your needs.
America is a country of many religious faiths. If your religion requires you to step on someone else’s right to practice their religion – please leave. If you step on the American flag, you’ve lost the plot – please leave. If you don’t appreciate the sacrifices members of the US Military and their families make, please leave.
What else?
If American kids want to wear a respectful shirt with the US flag on it – let them. If people in southern American states want to fly a Confederate flag – let them. That time period is a important part of our country’s history. For those who think this is a sign of racism remember, it wasn’t whites who were freed – it was black slaves….if you don’t think southerners already know this, do your own homework.
Freedom of Speech is a right of American citizens. What is expected by the founding fathers is that American citizens will practice some level of RESPECT for others and a certain level of intelligence when applying this important right. If you have no respect or intelligence or consideration for others, please leave, or, don’t expect others will want to hear anything you have to say. Your right to speak does not imply my forced “listening.”
I am proud to be an American. Normally I don’t have to go around shouting this from the rooftops. But if those trying to maneuver this country and its citizens keeping pushing me, I will fight back. Guaranteed!
