The Flag! The Flag!
by admin on Jun.25, 2015, under US Politics
I’m beginning to think I am going the way of the tin hat crowd. I’m seeing “conspiracies” everywhere. But hey, when a few “conspiracies” prove to be true, it’s hard to not start second-guessing.
I am completely undone by all this Confederate flag flap. Who started it? The lunatic who killed people in South Carolina? Because he was shown holding a Confederate flag? He was also shown wearing a Gold’s Gym shirt. Is Gold’s Gym now to be shutdown? After all, they must have had SOMETHING to do with the murders??
As soon as the flag became the focus, and I’m still not sure who was the “decider” on that, the media, businesses, and several State Governors began trashing the flag. Even the “good old boys” from the “Dukes of Hazzard” took a hit – because the car they drove in that TV series, called the “General Lee,” had a Confederate flag on its roof. Here’s a picture of it – before it gets “scrubbed” from existence:

If I was going to be offended by something there it would probably be the thought of driving a car with a orange paint job!
Are we really this stupid and this shallow to be trashing a flag that sorry, is PART OF OUR COUNTRY’S HISTORY??? I’m not sure, but it sure did create a nice distraction from something else that happened this week.
If you read the blog post below, you’ll know what it is. The Senate just gave Obama more power over the US and this may be our final downfall. The GOP could not have been more helpful to Obama and when some in the party like Representative Mark Meadows of North Carolina said he would vote against this Obama power grab, he was “demoted” by the GOP from a committee WE needed him to be part of.
So we have not only lost the ability to control global influence over the US, we are now officially a one-party country. There is little to no representation for conservatives – you know – people who like to READ something before they sign it!!
And if someone does not come out far-right as a GOP candidate, the GOP can kiss the presidency good-bye – for good. We’ve been betrayed and lied to. And we don’t forget.
“Oh look – there’s a squirrel! And a flag…”
