Paperwhite Narcissus: Week 7
by admin on Nov.29, 2013, under Images
And they were blooming nicely Thanksgiving Day!
I had to use some plant ties to get them to stand up – sort of. These bulbs put out very long stems before flowering:
I’m sure there is a more showy or professional way to do it but this works fine for me. As they continue to bloom, I’ll make some adjustments to try and get them on the straight and narrow through the rest of the bloom period.
Some have/had good luck getting these to bloom a second or even third season. I might do some research on how to properly store these bulbs and see if I can get “Year Two” out of them!
Here’s a link to the last 6 weeks’ worth of growth posts and images.
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!
