Garden Statues & Stones
by admin on Sep.18, 2013, under Shop@RoseCottage
I love statues and stones in a garden. As long as they are sized right for the environment and not too overdone – statues and stones can add a bit of character and interest nearly anywhere. Some are very simple with very clean lines and some are unbelievably intricate.

I need one of these “Fairy of Lost Things” statues – inside AND outside…
While these products above are each available for less than $50, I have to add one more that costs a bit more – just because it is so beautiful!
And here she is – the Grand Fairy of Kensington! “She” is sold out at the moment – and I can see why…

Statuary: “Animals” for Your Garden!

If I didn’t live on a rural property of nearly 7 acres I’d still want to have a few animals around so I don’t lose contact with the natural order of things. Thanks to garden statues, even a small lot can have some wildlife “visitors” and you won’t even have to feed them!

I think I might get one of these for my lake property – but probably not until AFTER my mother’s visit! Might help keeping fishing trespassers away though…

Home & Garden Fountains and Statues
For Fountain-Lovers

I have a fountain on the lake portion of my property. This was purchased mainly to help aerate the pond – which it has done, but it has also become a point of interest to visitors. Maybe those blue neon lights at night, highlighting the fountain may have something to do with it.
Although my home is not by any measure a “grand estate,” I think it might be time to look at another fountain – this time, land-based. I’ve found an online seller of fountains and all things neat for the garden so will be looking there to make this important purchase.
For smaller, less elaborate properties, a smaller but no less beautiful fountain may be just right. Here’s a good example:
This Torino Fountain will add a touch of elegance to my rustic property and at 9 inches tall and 16 inches in diameter, will suit my very narrow drive and entry area quite well.
The Olivia Jar Fountain, at 56 inches in height and 42 inches in diameter, may be a better selection for large properties or for those with an established property “entrance” that could use a little enhancement.
Shop additional Home & Garden Fountains…also home of the “Frog Blog,” and some other very unique garden fountain and statue products. I’m sure you will find something perfect for your outdoor living space.
