Please take a moment today to think about the poor citizens of Russia who are dealing with some of the worst fires the country has ever experienced.

A record heat wave of temperatures around 104 degrees Farenheit (normal for this time of year is closer to 80 degreesF), makes this situation even worse. Over 600 separate wildfires have killed an unknown number of animals, over 50 people, and have left nearly 3000 people homeless. Approximately one-fifth of the country’s grain crop has been destroyed.
