Friday Video – TGIF…Haven’t seen the Goldfinch doing this…yet!

Have been watching this Goldfinch feast on the first and now the second sunflower. The sunflower is only there because of the bird feeding in the Spring. One seed must have fallen just right and received enough water to grow and bloom – through gravel!

Sounds like a well-laid plan between the Wrens and the Goldfinch….

Found this little guy sitting on the leaf of a Mexican Coneflower. He seems quite happy to be sitting 3 feet off the ground in the semi-shade…
