There is an old saying that every dog has his day. CoCo thinks this really means every day IS his day and he takes advantage of every opportunity to have some fun!
Here he is, after having the fun of opening his own Christmas present from his Aunt Janet...playing with his new toy Kong.
From the look on his face I think he has decided this particular Kong is a good bit bigger than it looked in the catalog! But, he had a lot of fun with it anyway and try as he might, he has not been able to destroy it - now nearly 3 years later.
Toys and dogs and fun all go together which is another reason why I think we humans like having them around.
CoCo never asks for much...he never wants to borrow the car, doesn't stay on the computer all day, doesn't watch too much TV, and I'm not having to save for his college fund.
If I walk up to the mailbox to get the mail, he greets me on my return as if I've been gone two years instead of two minutes! There is no downside to having a pet...except that their lifespan is not as long as we'd like it to be. This is even more reason to spoil them while you have them and to make sure they get the best food possible to live long and healthy lives.
Keeping that in mind...when CoCo makes a wish list of things he'd like to have...I take note.
