I had my experience with a wood stove at last . I liked it. Only used little bit of fire wood this first time. Warmed up our living room extremely fast. Also put a frying pan on top loaded with leftovers. Heated gradually yet evenly. Flames looked lovely through chrome door and web. Getting excited about more casual days in front of the lovely efficient wood burner.

My wood stove saved me when the power went off during a recent ice storm. I was able to heat water to at least make a cup of instant coffee – which is an early-morning requirement!
